Below are details of the top pages of the calendar, which i usually "collaged" over. On the front cover i stuck the GTOs "Permanent Damage" promo shot; i dont even know what was originally under the collages! I was a huge fan of Leon Russell, Delaney & Bonnie, & Keith Richard - who are on almost every page. Was also very into Miles Davis's "Bitches Brew" at the time.

My 1970's John & Yoko calendar- with many notations & collages all over it. I dedicated various months to various stars or people or themes. I'd bought Yoko's book "Grapefruit" & was [@ the time] inspired by her 'conceptual art' ideas ... so there is a lot of that kind of stuff scrawled on the calendar. Some of it might seem a bit politically incorrect in this day and age... but it is an authentic document of an era long gone... in more ways than one!
i dont know why i was so into john & yoyo uno [george oskoian's name for die dragon lady] @ the time. now, i find they were nothing more than self promoting, self aggrandizing egomaniacs- and most of their crap was really pretty lame- what did i know then? i was 20 & stoned. LMAO
